Personality: Lorelei believes very strongly in justice and retribution. Although she is fiercely devoted to those she deems worthy of friendship and respect, and is very capable of good humor and laughter, she has no sympathy for objectionable individuals and tends to deal with them cruelly, or more often fatally, if given the opportunity. She also has a bit of an obsession wih skeletons.
History: Lorelei's first contact other faeries was with selkies and the rare aquatic pookah. New and free of assumptions, she liked them very much from the first, and this instilled in her a deep hatred of whaling and sealing. When she was still very young, an extremely well-travelled gull pooka noticed a birthmark on her tail (or in both of her human forms, foot) which it said looked very much like the Hindu wheel of karma. It explained to her how the Hindu religion worked, and from then on, Lorelei has devoutly believed in God and the law of karma and has convinced herself that she is it's agent. She has been dealing out bloody retribution ever since, using her voice to sink whalers and punishing anyone else crossing her path who she deems unworthy. She currently resides in a sea cave off the coast of the town of Toradh, and has filled her home with the bones of her victims. This has not been discovered by the authorities because the cave is technically on private property and cannot be approached safely by a swimming human due to the jagged rocks which make up the coastline surrounding it.
Other: When dry, her tail turns into legs - in nymph form, her toes are still webbed. (See details) The barnacle on her cheek also turns into a Monroe piercing in glamour form.
