Oh man, this is an idea that's been going around my head since I was a little kid!
I think the inspiration for this came from The Twelve Dancing Princesses, which first gave me the idea of the glass forest, and The Last Unicorn, which made me think of having it belong to a unicorn.  In The Last Unicorn, the unicorn's magic rubs off on the area, giving her forest an everlasting spring and the animals the power to evade hunters. So I thought, why not take that a step further and have the unicorn's magic affect what the forest looks like, too? Hence, the glass forest!And before you ask, no, the forest isn't actually made of glass and metal and jewels - it just looks that way. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
