Personality: Nimue is, in all respects, a flower child - she is generally cheerful, free of regret, unprejudiced, and while not stupid, she spends a lot of time off in her own world. She's prone to doing things like putting water on the stove to boil in order to be helpful, and then wandering off and forgetting all about it (resulting in a ruined pot), or staring blankly at someone after they've finished giving a long and involved explanation of something and saying, "...what?" She does, however, have a particular talent for playing human, and when it suits her can talk her way into or out of nearly anything She also has a particular soft spot for people - fairy, monster, human, or undecided - who care about nature, and will do what she can, for example, to see that farmers who genuinely care for their farms prosper. Due to her aforementioned severe case of head in the clouds, however, this can occasionally backfire.

History: Nimue seems to have lived out her life in England's famous Salisbury plains. Her position in the faerie court there is rather amorphous, as she seems to have been an outsider who preferred to be off doing things her own way. A little over a decade ago she met a photo journalist of Indian decent and Irish nationality while he was shooting for an article. The two had a brief and very happy affair, and when Nimue discovered she'd become pregnant, she confessed to him what she was. The young man was understandably surprised, but accepted the truth and the upshot was that when the baby came, he took the little girl back with him to his home in one of Dublin's nicer suburbs as soon as it was possible to do this. However, very recently, Nimue's former young man was killed while reporting in a war zone, and now Nimue, with a little bit of cunning, has managed to get custody of her daughter, Geeta, a house, and a car. Not wanting to uproot Geeta from Ireland, but wanting to live somewhere close to people of her own kind, Nimue has moved with her daughter to a lovely little seaside house in Toradh. Due to her apparent youth, she gives out that Geeta is her niece rather than her daughter. Being a very good cook, Nimue has taken a job at a local restaurant and comes in mornings to do the baking. It should also be noted that back home, because of the presence of Stonehenge, Nimue was far more powerful than she is in Ireland. Her abilities have, however, been slowly but steadily returning to her.
